Watermelon Elderflower Cocktail

Watermelon is one of those fruits that just screams summer. It reminds me of watermelon eating contests and spitting the seeds all over the driveway.

Of course that was when I was a kid. Now that I’m all grown up, I like to spike my watermelon. ๐Ÿ™‚

When I decided to make a watermelon cocktail, I knew I wanted to include Elderflower. I tried it for the first time about 6 months ago and fell in love.

When combined with some lime juice and cucumber, the watermelon and Elderflower make what is my new favorite cocktail. It’s so delicious and would appeal to so many. It’s sweet with the watermelon, but not too sweet. And very light. It was fun to play around with it and get it just right.

  2. I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve ever had elderflower, but oh my goodness, do these cocktails look fantastic or what!? So fun that the Georgia Watermelon Association is doing a drink contest too!

  3. Looks delightful but at what point do you add the rum?

I’ve got to try Elderflower! These sound so refreshing with the cucumber slices. Isn’t it great being able to spike our watermelon now instead of just seed-spitting contests? Haha!
