Mix the Dry Ingredients

Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Mix the Wet Ingredients

Mix together the oil, sugar, and vanilla extract. Add the eggs and mix to combine.


Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix to combine.


Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.


Set aside to cool while you make the frosting.

Make the Frosting

Combine cream, butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in saucepan, cook over medium heat until light boil for about 1 minute.

Add the Pecans

Stir in pecans, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, then let the topping cool and thicken for 3-5 minutes.


Spread frosting evenly over the brownies. Then allow brownies to cool completely until frosting is fully set.


Use the overhanging parchment paper to remove the brownies from the pan and cut into bars.
