Description

Funfetti Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats topped with a layer of rainbow chip frosting and white chocolate! Easy to make and taste amazing!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 10 oz bag marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup cake mix, toasted
  • 6 c rice krispies
  • 1 can Betty Crocker Rainbow Chip Icing
  • 1 package white chocolate (or candy melts, which I used. I prefer the way they harden.)
  • 4 tsp sprinkles

Instructions

1. Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
2. Add Marshmallows and stir constantly until they are fully melted.
3. Stir in the dry cake mix and vanilla. Remove pan from heat.
4. Stir in rice krispies cereal until it is completely coated in marshmallow mixture.
5. Press into a baking pan (any size is fine, I used an 11 x 7) that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Don’t press too hard, or your treats will be hard.
6. Allow to cool.
7. Spread on a layer of rainbow chip icing.
8. Melt down the white chocolate and spread over the icing.
9. Top with sprinkles.
