Funfetti Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats with Rainbow Chip Icing and White Chocolate {Funfetti Week}
Funfetti Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats topped with a layer of rainbow chip frosting and white chocolate! Easy to make and taste amazing!
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 bag marshmallows (10 oz bag)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup cake mix (toasted)
- 6 cups rice krispies
- 1 can Betty Crocker Rainbow Chip Icing
- 1 package white chocolate (I used candy melts, I prefer the way they harden)
- 4 teaspoons sprinkles
Instructions
- 1. Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- 2. Add Marshmallows and stir constantly until they are fully melted.
- 3. Stir in the dry cake mix and vanilla. Remove pan from heat.
- 4. Stir in rice krispies cereal until it is completely coated in marshmallow mixture.
- 5. Press into a baking pan (any size is fine, I used an 11 x 7) that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Don't press too hard, or your treats will be hard.
- 6. Allow to cool.
- 7. Spread on a layer of rainbow chip icing.
- 8. Melt down the white chocolate and spread over the icing.
- 9. Top with sprinkles.
