Make the Cookie Dough

Beat the butter, powdered sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and flour to form the dough. Then shape into discs, wrap tightly, and refrigerate.

Cut the Dough

Roll dough to a thickness of less than half an inch, cut cookies into desired shapes, and use a toothpick to create holes in each cookie.


Sprinkle about half a teaspoon of sugar onto each cookie. Then bake them for 8-10 minutes.

Let Cool

Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Melt the Chocolate

Melt chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds at a time. Then drizzle over cookies or dip each cookie halfway into the melted chocolate.


Place the cookies onto a sheet of parchment paper and allow the chocolate to set.
