No Bake Oatmeal Cream Pie Cheesecake

This No Bake Oatmeal Cream Pie Cheesecake is an easy, delicious treat that makes use of one of my favorite cookies - the oatmeal cream pie! The combination of the soft, chewy cookie with the smooth, creamy cheesecake makes this dessert a must make.So this past Saturday I went for dessert with some friends to celebrate a birthday. We went to a restaurant that has one of the best bakeries around here. They have 4 or 5 cases full of the biggest, most wonderful cakes, pastries, cupcakes and more. I've never been disappointed by a dessert there. In fact, it was their millionaire cake with layers of flourless chocolate cake, NY cheesecake and chocolate mousse than inspired my Funfetti Millionaire Cake. To die for.Deciding what to get is always the hardest part. A friend and I went and browsed the … [Read more...]

Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake

This post is sponsored by KitchenAid, but all opinions my own. This Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake has pieces of apple and pockets of cinnamon filling layered into it to make the most wonderful apple-filled cheesecake! The combination of smooth, creamy cheesecake, cinnamon, and lightly crunchy apples is something you won't want to miss!I don't know about you, but I am really starting to get excited for fall. Apple baking always seems to get me in the mood. I start breaking out the cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel and just can't wait to devour it all over some delicious apples!Enter this cheesecake. While I left out the caramel, I absolutely considered drizzling some over the top of it and you should consider it too.But even without it, the cinnamon and apples are pure fall heaven.Making the … [Read more...]

No Bake Nutella Cheesecake

This No Bake Nutella Cheesecake is thick, creamy and silky smooth! It's full of Nutella flavor and completely to die for. And of course no bake is always a plus.So if you've hung around this blog long, you surely know that I love Nutella. Well, I actually love a lot of things, but Nutella is totally one of them. All I need is a jar, a spoon and about an hour. Nutella gone.Ok, not really. I wouldn't actually do that. But I totally want to.So instead, I made a cheesecake. Then I licked the spoon. :)Much like making a peanut buttery dessert, licking the spoon is the best part. Of course when I have a spoon covered in peanut butter, Jessie usually gets to lick it. With Nutella, I respond to her drooling by letting her know that chocolate is not good for her. Then I get it all to … [Read more...]

Peach Caramel Blondie Cheesecake

This Peach Caramel Blondie Cheesecake is the stuff dreams are made of. A peach and cinnamon filled blondie is topped with caramel no bake cheesecake, cinnamon peaches and caramel sauce. There is no better way to enjoy some peaches this summer!Well I hope everyone had a great fourth of July weekend. We went to visit my parents and see my grandmother. It had been a while since we’d been to visit, so it was quite nice. It’d also been years since we’d spent the fourth there, so it was nice to be back and see the fireworks. My parents have lived in the same house for about 20 years, so the fireworks show is the one I’ve been seeing since I was kid and their neighborhood puts on a great show.Thursday was also my grandmother’s 85th birthday. We had good food and a lemon cake - her favorite. And yes, I … [Read more...]

German Chocolate Cheesecake

This German Chocolate Cheesecake is delicious! With a chocolate crust, chocolate cheesecake and coconut pecan topping, it's a gooey, wonderful treat! So this past weekend, it felt like a doggy daycare around these parts. Jessie had a lot of friends to play with! And both were last minute too - what are the odds?On Friday, our neighbors didn't get their dog to boarding in time, and it was only one night, so we kept her for them. She's a little miniature pinscher with diabetes. I made the hubs do the shots. Too scary for me.She went home Saturday morning and then some friends brought over their pomeranian. They had a weekend away planned to celebrate his birthday and because of a mix up with their boarding, they weren't able to leave the dog for the night like they'd planned.I couldn't let … [Read more...]

Red Velvet Blondie Cheesecake

This Red Velvet Blondie Cheesecake is a layer of red velvet blondie topped with no bake cheesecake. It is a moist, chewy, creamy and a classic combo. Plus, it's super festive for July 4th with blue chocolate stars. I totally fell in love with it!So have you ever tried Zumba before? I feel like classes at the gym like that totally depend on the instructor as to whether they are good or not.I'd only been to one Zumba class before and hadn't totally been impressed. But when I showed up at the gym Saturday morning, I noticed a class was about to start and decided to break up my normal routine and give it a try. I normally love step classes, but the ones at my gym weren't very good so it looks like they've cancelled them all together. :(Fortunately the Zumba was actually really fun! It's not as … [Read more...]

Loaded Butterscotch Cheesecake

This Loaded Butterscotch Cheesecake might literally be the best cheesecake I've ever had, let alone made. It is so darn good. It's loaded with butterscotch and is the dream dessert for a butterscotch lover. Every bite is like a creamy, delicious bite of butterscotch. Mmmm...So I have a tendency to fall in love with new songs and then play them over and over. It's totally a thing I do. I'll bake, work, whatever with the song, or few songs, basically on repeat in the background.Lately I've had 3 or 4 that I'm totally into. I've been listening to them while I bake at night. Then the hubs and I were in the car the other day and one of them came on the radio. I was like, "Ohhh, it's my song." And he was like, "Oh, I know."For some reason, I'd kind of assumed he totally ignored me, what I was … [Read more...]

Coconut Blondie Cheesecake

This Coconut Blondie Cheesecake is so darn good and full of coconut flavor. Every time I make another coconut dessert, I’m reminded of how delicious coconut is. And the combination of the chewy blondie and the smooth, creamy cheesecake is to die for.So you know how whenever something’s missing, your mom is always the on who finds it. It never seems to fail. Sometimes I think I need to be a mom just so that I can actually find something for once.Last night, the hubs and I sat down to eat dinner and watch a little tv. We were going to watch something on our apple tv, but couldn’t find the little remote. We’ve never had trouble with it before. It’s always hanging out with our other two remotes. We knew we’d just seen it. But we couldn’t find it.We got up and walked around the whole living … [Read more...]

Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake

This Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake is a delicious thick and and creamy cheesecake with a ribbon of cinnamon running all through it, topped off with cream cheese icing. It’s an awesome cheesecake that you’ll be dying to serve for dessert - or breakfast! :)So I hope you all love cheesecakes as much as I do. There are so many options and things you can do with them and they really aren’t hard to make. They can take a little time since they take a while to bake and cool, but as long as you have some time to work with, they really shouldn’t be intimidating. And they’ve always been one of my favorite desserts. I’m such a texture person, so I love a thick and creamy cheesecake. I used to call them “the” favorite, but I just love so many things now it’s really hard for me to pick a favorite anymore. I have a … [Read more...]
